Neeeeeeeee How!!!!

Jason Meller here, posting from a very accommodating Shanghai, China! With the Pirate Bay Trial now reaching it’s exciting conclusion, I felt it appropriate to post some helpful tips to the suits in the media companies who are trying to curb this piracy thing in the first place.

When you’re in the business of selling a product that’s easy to copy and everyone hates you because you sue them and the economy sucks; chances are they are going to pirate it. If you take away their venue and destroy a perfectly legitimate P2P protocol in the process,  they are still going to pirate it or just forget your product even exists.

Simple right?

Fritz will hopefully make his triumphant return on Friday and I hope to get the site back on track when I get back to the states and have some time to devote to things. I’ll post pictures from my trip as soon as possible.

On Hiatus

Hey everyone, Jason Meller at your service.

As you noticed the last few days the comic has not been updated on it’s regular schedule.

I’ve actually decided to put the comic on indefinite hiatus. Fritz and I need to reevaluate how we want the comic to work in the future and to better accommodate our ever-increasing hectic schedules. Stickcat isn’t going away for years like last time, but it’s definitely taking a vacation.

Thanks for following us these past few months, we certainly hope you’ve enjoyed it. We look forward to coming back with an even stronger, funnier, and more grotesque comic as soon as we can.

Until that time, keep checking this spot for updates on anything stickcat or Jason & Fritz related.

China

Hello Stickcat netizens! As most of you already know, I’m currently in the midst of a three week business trip in Shanghai, China. What this means for you is  Fritz  has and will continue to hold down the proverbial stickcat.net fort until my triumphant return.

So how is China so far? Well the bad news is there are a new slew of cultural social cues I am unable to pick up on (this is on top of the ones I don’t understand in my own country). The good news? The foodstuffs!! Here’s a sampling of  two foods my pallet has become privy to.

(Left:A delicious Pigeon in a soup.  Right: “Rape”)

I have a bunch more pictures on my actual camera. I’ll post those up once I get some critical mass on the quality ones.

Death March

We regrettably arrive at comic number two along our forsaken path of Fritzlessness. Without the master’s sure and steady hand and ability to keep my morose thoughts off the page, I present to you the horrifying result. As the Lobsterpous’ tickling tendrils ensnare your mortal soul, I submit to you dear reader that I did try my best.

This comic was inspired by this prior entry into the Daily Campus (and by inspired I mean almost copied exactly): Don’t inquire why this one is entitled “Woodcat” either, I honestly have no idea.

Apparently cats don’t like going to the vet? What a fresh and exciting look at cat ownership! Am I right? Am I right folks? I thought so.
